When you first receive your order you may notice some familiar but also some unusual items that are specific to Oriflamme brand fire tables. So this post is intended to share some of the products you will find packaged separately in your box. And it’s also useful to know the part names when you are troubleshooting your table or might need to purchase a replacement part.
- Heavy Duty Metal Gas Fire Table Lid This heavy duty powder coated aluminum fire table metal lid comes included with your Oriflamme fire table order. It will match the color of your fire table base (Copper Vein, Black or Charcoal Gray). It is used to protect your fireglass burner from the elements when the table is not in use.
- Oriflamme Table Burner Puller The Oriflamme Burner Puller is a wire handled tool used to lift the Oriflamme burner pan up from the table when replacing the tank(s). The tool has 3 wirelines each with a small tabs that connects to the 3 tabs that are triangulated on the outside edge of the Oriflamme fire table.
- Oriflamme Table Burner Stand When you lift the table out it has an L shaped tube on the bottom (the venturi tube) that connects the burner to the control valve & knob. So the burner is not able to sit on a flat surface. This U shaped Oriflamme table burner stand is made to hold your burner pan with venturi tube while you are changing out your propane tanks.

Q. Can the Oriflamme gas fire table be left outside year round?
A. Yes, the manufacturer recommends an all-weather protective cover and to seal your fire table seasonally. For granite tables they recommend a granite sealer; for the concrete tables they recommend a concrete sealer; and for the hammered copper they recommend carnauba wax.
Q. What size tanks do the Oriflamme gas fire tables use?
A. The Oriflamme gas fire tables use standard 20# barbeque grill size tanks. For all models with table tops 40″ and larger they have a dual storage tank capacity.
Q. Do I need to close the valves after each use?
A. No, simply use the control knob to turn the flame completely off. We only recommend turning off your control valves when you are storing your table during the off-season or when you will be leaving your home on vacation/work trip for an extended period.
Q. Does the Oriflamme gas fire table use a push button ignite system?
A. No, the Oriflamme tables use a match lit system so you will need a long handled lighter to ignite your table. Push button igniters can short out and are difficult and costly to replace.
Q. I live in a fire restricted area where you cannot burn open fires. Is it safe to use my fire table?
A. Please check your local jurisdiction for coding requirements. The Oriflamme fire tables have a controlled-flame and generally meet the guidelines for most fire safety requirements. The table is clean burning and it does not produce soot or embers.
Q. Is the flame adjustable?
A. Yes, the flame is adjustable via control knob. The flame can be low for ambience or adjusted to high if you want heat output.
Q. How many BTU’s do Oriflamme fire tables produce?
A. Up to 75,000 BTU’s on propane tanks. And up to 90,000 BTU’s on natural gas.
Q. Can we roast marshmallows on an Oriflamme fire table?
A. Absolutely! If you get drippings in your fireglass, once the fire glass has cooled off, pour it into a plastic colander (to prevent scratching the metal colander) and rinse it off. Once the fireglass dries you can place it back in the burner and resume normal use.
Q. Can I choose my own fireglass colors when I order a new table?
A. Yes, please ask your sales representative or put your combination of up to 12 lbs in the notes section of your online order. There is no additional cost involved if you choose a different glass color combination when you place your initial order.
Q. I love the Oriflamme fire tables but I have a small space. Do you have another recommendation?
A. Yes, the Oriflamme tables also have a mini size fire table. It is the smallest table on the market with a diameter of 32″. It is ideal for apartment balconies or places where you have restricted area.
Q. Why is my burner tube (Venturi tube) so short? It will not reach to the control valve.
A. For safety reasons when the Oriflamme fire table ships the venturi tube will be secured with set screws. Remove the screws to the extend the piping and then stick your hand in the cut out hole just below your control knob to pull the venturi tube over the control valve. See the steps in the 3 photos below.
Step 1. Remove the set screws from the venturi tube below the pan burner and place into the table top.
Step 2. Stick your hand in the cut out of the side of the table and extend it over the control valve.
Step 3: The venturi tube once connected over the control valve should look like the photo below.
Q. Can I use Natural Gas?
A. Yes, all of the gas fire tables we offer at AllBackyard Fun can be configured with your choice of propane or natural gas set up.
Q. What does the table include when you order it?
A. When you first order an Oriflamme fire table you will receive the following:
- Powder coated aluminum base configured to propane or natural gas

- 8-12 lbs fire glass depending on the size table you ordered
