Small lava rock - 10lb bag

With our lava rock you can give your fireplace or fire pit the appearance that it is filled with Urban fire glass, without the additional expense. Our fireplace or fire pit lava rock also helps retain the heat more than your traditional gas logs,which makes your fire pit or fireplace more efficient.

We recommend using placing the small lava rock down first and then topping with the fire pit glass. You can use the larger lava rock and then fill in with the smaller to help prevent the fire glass from falling down into the larger pieces.

Please note that due to the density of our lava rock, a 10 lb bag of lava rock is equivalent to a 20lb bag of fire glass.

On the average a fireplace will take between 50 and 75 lbs of glass or lava rock. We recommend using 2"- 3" thick layer of Fireglass over the lava rock to get the Proper flame.
