WeatherMAX uses SaturaMax yarn that is 100% solution dyed yarn and has superior color consistency, light fastness characteristics and is bleach cleanable. General Care
Regular Maintenance: Brush off dirt immediately to prevent it from embedding into the fabric. Dirt provides a habitat for mold and mildew spores to grow.
Periodic Rinsing: Hose down your cover regularly. While rain provides natural rinsing, it can also carry organic matter.
Water Repellent Check: WeatherMAX is treated with a durable water repellent finish designed to last several years. Check periodically to ensure water still beads on the fabric. If water flattens or soaks in, it's time to retreat the fabric.
Cleaning Instructions
Spot Cleaning: Use a soapy solution of mild detergent and lukewarm water. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow to air dry.
Mildew Stains: Prepare a solution of one (1) cup of bleach plus (1/2) cup of mild detergent per gallon of water. Spray on the entire area and allow soaking. Rinse with clean water and allow to air dry.
Important: Fully rinse bleach off the fabric. Protect non-WeatherMAX areas such as sewing thread and reinforcements from bleach contact to prevent deterioration.
